On the road again...

Another installment of "Conversations with Connor"...

Connor just ended the spring TBall season and throughout the season we've played catch in the backyard. And we've also tried to teach him some of the finer points of baseball lingo, one of them being "Bring the heat".

So this morning, we're in the family room, tossing a blow up ball around, and Connor yells "Bring the humidity Dad!"

Happy 4th birthday Connor.

All the normal sayings apply:

Time has flown by so fast.
We can't believe he's already 4!
What happened to the little baby/toddler?

We're also so proud, so happy, and so blessed to have such a fun, happy, energetic, smart, enthusiastic, funny kid in Connor. He puts a smile on our face daily and gives and receives love with open arms.

We love you Connor. Happy 4th Birthday.

I haven't posted one of these gems in a long time. Not that there haven't been plenty, but I spend too much time on the computer as it is. But this one is just too rich to pass up:

Setting: Driving in the car.

Connor: ***Spit***

Me: Connor, what did you just do?

Connor: Nothing.

Me: You just spit.

Connor: No I didn't spit.

Me: Connor, you did spit, I can see it on the window.

Connor: No Daddy, no you can't see it on the window because it already dried up.

Well, there you have it. We're working on things like honesty, talking back, and, oh yeah, spitting in the car. And normally he'd be bust for all three infractions in some way, shape or form, but Jennifer and I could not control our laughter.
