On the road again...

For those of you who haven't heard, Jennifer is pregnant and due at the beginning of Feb. And we found out that it is a girl! Connor has already made a name suggestion: "Monster Frederick". Ahhh, he's already starting to pick on his little sister.

Here's another Connor quote for the scrapbook. This started after a little mis-behaviour incident involving Connor's desire to walk at a particular point in time:

Me:

Hey, buddy, when I ask you to do something, I need you to listen to me and not be goofy.

Connor (said with two year old innocence and matter-of-fact-ness):

Hey, Daddy, when I want to walk, all you need to do is put me down on the ground. It's not that hard.

We took another Labor Day Weekend backpacking trip, this time near Lake Tahoe, and had an excellent time. Much different than our Lake Edison trips in the past, but still tons of fun. A little less demanding on the body. Here are some pics:
